None of the service manuals or user manuals for that model actually state the weight, the dimensions are given but not the weight, they only started to add the weight on the later and much bigger models when the weight of say a 500 pound organ is a major logistics problem !
From experience you would be looking at 300 pounds upwards two strong men to lift it, more if stairs are involved
Hello we have a Lowrey Magic Genie 98, bought in 1980.
It is in immaculate condition to look at inside and out as it has been well looked after. It hasn’t been played or serviced from 2002 and sounds terrible. Are these organs able to be retuned or serviced to sell on or give away. It belonged to my 91 year old mother. We do not play. Otherwise it will have to go to the dump. Can you please give me some information as l know nothing about them.
Thankyou jennifer
You don’t state where you are, but these organs are basically worthless nowadays, especially if they don’t work or need any repairs. you may be lucky to find someone to buy if it was fully working or they could repair it themselves
but probably be difficult to even find a good home if given away !
Can you tell me how much a Lowrey Magic Genie 98 weighs? We are trying to move on ourselves.

I found a listing for one that sold at auction, the stated weight was 227lbs WITH PALLET, so approximately 200lbs, depending on the pallet used

I’d love to have any manuals or music books that are with the organ before you take it to the dump.
