If like me you have an older organ, my one is a Lowrey Stardust. After a while you will start to notice after many hours of sitting at the organ playing it, that the seat will start to deteriorate rapidly.
First you will probable note that the main seating area will start to go harder than the surrounding areas, it will then start to crack or split, making the appearance of the seat very unsightly.
But what can be done to resolve this, you could always find an upholsterer to repair it for you, or you could attempt at having a go yourself. The first options can be expensive, the second option just a few dollars for the replacement material.
If this is something you would like to have a go at yourself, and believe me it is not as difficult as you would think, i will show you step by step how to do it.
